Police and emergency crews responded to a series of incidents in neighbouring Manly between Saturday, 23 May and Friday, 29 May, including multiple assault reports, disorder-related callouts and an e-bike crash.



NSW Police first received reports of a group of disorderly youths gathered near North Steyne just after 8.15pm on Saturday, 23 May.

Later that evening, just before 10.30pm, police were called to East Esplanade following reports of an alleged assault.

Another assault report was made just after midnight on Sunday, 24 May, at Raglan Street, with police again attending the scene.

Shortly before 2am on Sunday, 24 May, officers were called to licensed premises at The Corso after reports of an intoxicated person allegedly refusing to leave.

Fire and Rescue NSW Manly Station also responded to a hazard incident just before 1pm on Sunday, 24 May, after reports of an oil spill at Darley Road.

Firefighters found a small amount of cooking oil in a gutter and used absorbent material to clean and neutralise the spill.

On Tuesday, 26 May, Fire and Rescue NSW Narrabeen Station attended a fire alarm activation at Manly Waters Private Hospital on Cove Avenue just before 10am. Crews confirmed there was no fire and determined the alarm had been triggered by weather conditions.

Police were later called to Belgrave Street just after 9.30am on Wednesday, 27 May, following another reported assault.

Emergency services also responded to an e-bike crash at Darley Road just before 8.15pm on Thursday, 28 May, with NSW Police and NSW Ambulance attending the incident.

A further assault report was made just before 5.30pm on Friday, 29 May, at North Steyne.

The incidents form part of a broader snapshot of recent police and emergency service activity in the Manly area, adjacent to Fairlight.
